The Role
This is a key role within the CRM analytics function, focused on both decisioning and campaign performance analysis. Working within a collaborative team of six, you'll partner with the CRM operations team to deliver end-to-end campaigns, from targeting to reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Role

Own and scale a performance marketing channel (Google, Meta, Instagram, or ad networks)

Manage and optimize $500k-$1M+ in paid media spend

Run A/B tests, optimize funnels, and iterate on creatives

Model LTV and subscription growth, make data-driven recommendations

Report directly to CMO and work in a lean, fast-moving team
Profile

3-10 years of hands-on performance marketing experience

Proven track record in managing high-volume paid media budgets

Strong analytics focus: subscription models, LTV modeling

B2C background required (industry flexible)

Startup/scale-up experience preferred

Location: West London (Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office)
Salary: Up to £70,000

Role Overview:
As a Principal Econometrician, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering econometric projects that help optimize business decision-making. You’ll work with key stakeholders to ensure your insights translate into real-world decisions on budget allocations, media planning, and marketing efficiency. If you’re passionate about advanced statistical techniques, media planning, and optimizing commercial strategies, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of econometric projects, ensuring alignment with key business goals and objectives
- Drive the Cross-Portfolio Optimisation process, using econometric insights to inform budget allocations and marketing decisions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate econometric findings into real-world business decisions
- Partner with consumer strategy teams to enhance the department’s reputation and influence within the company
- Lead the development of new techniques, tools, and processes to improve team efficiency, staying ahead of industry trends
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience delivering econometrics projects with an established provider in the industry
- Experience with sizing, allocating, and optimizing media investment decisions in a commercial context
- Passion for using statistical techniques to convert data into actionable recommendations
- Strong understanding of media planning and buying, and knowledge of how optimization techniques inform media strategies
- Advanced Excel skills to manipulate data and optimize based on model parameters
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in developing and upskilling econometrics teams to ensure the use of the latest tools and techniques
- Excellent communication skills with experience delivering results and recommendations that impact commercial decision-making
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Knowledge of Python is desirable
