Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid)

We're partnering with an established organisation that is continuing to invest in its data and analytics capability. They are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the development and governance of their enterprise Business Intelligence environment, ensuring data is accurate, scalable and supports strategic decision-making across the business.

The Role

As the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll take ownership of the organisation's Business Intelligence platform, providing technical leadership across data architecture, governance and reporting. Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, you'll help shape the future of the BI function by delivering trusted, self-service analytics and driving continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design, development and governance of enterprise Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Architecting scalable data models using Oracle and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data sources.
  • Establishing and maintaining data governance, quality standards and compliance processes.
  • Acting as the technical lead for the Tableau environment, ensuring performance, reliability and best practice.
  • Supporting the rollout of self-service BI by developing documentation, training and user guidance.
  • Acting as the senior escalation point for complex reporting, data integrity and BI issues.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Driving automation and optimisation across BI processes and reporting.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Significant experience in Business Intelligence, with experience leading enterprise BI environments.
  • Advanced Tableau administration and architecture expertise.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with Oracle and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience designing data models and implementing robust data governance frameworks.
  • A solid understanding of data warehousing and relational databases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
