The Role

As the Technical Architect, you’ll own the high-level architecture across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, APIs, integrations and security, working closely with an external platform provider and internal product leadership to deliver the MVP/MLP and the longer-term technical roadmap.
Key responsibilities
- Define and govern platform architecture (cloud, data, APIs, integrations, security)
- Set standards for schemas, metadata and interoperability
- Support hands-on delivery and solve complex technical challenges
- Produce clear documentation, technical direction and best practices
What my client is looking for
- 10+ years in engineering / architecture roles
- Strong experience with cloud-native distributed systems
- Hands-on AWS/Azure/GCP knowledge (IAM, networking, storage, compute)
- Strong data architecture experience (schemas, metadata, governance)
Nice to have
- Data-intensive platform/marketplace experience
- Integration-heavy work + exposure to IaC/DevOps
Location & eligibility
UK-based role. Right to work in the UK required (no sponsorship).
