Digital Data Analyst
London - hybrid working 2-3x a week

This is a standout opportunity to join a growing digital analytics function at a pivotal stage of its evolution. The role offers real influence, sitting at the intersection of ecommerce, trading and data engineering, with the chance to shape how digital insight is used across the business.

The Company
They are a premium omnichannel retailer with a strong online presence and a clear focus on long-term, sustainable growth. The business combines digital commerce with physical retail and places a strong emphasis on customer experience, wellbeing and inclusive ways of working. Data plays an increasingly important role in how commercial decisions are made.

The Role
You will act as the bridge between ecommerce stakeholders and the data engineering team, turning digital trading questions into clear, actionable insight.

  • Analyse ecommerce performance across the full digital funnel, from traffic through to conversion.
  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards in Power BI used by senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis to support onsite trading, merchandising and performance marketing decisions.
  • Investigate changes in traffic, conversion and revenue, separating tracking issues from UX, marketing or trading drivers.
  • Assess GA4 tracking and identify gaps in events, parameters and definitions.
  • Translate business questions into clear data requirements and briefs for data engineers.
  • Support data quality checks and ongoing improvement of digital data foundations.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Strong commercial experience in ecommerce or digital retail analytics.
  • Confident working with GA4, including events, parameters and ecommerce measurement.
  • Strong Power BI capability, including DAX and semantic modelling.
  • Ability to explain ecommerce metrics clearly and commercially to non technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with digital funnels and onsite performance analysis.
  • Comfortable collaborating with data engineers and understanding how digital data flows into a warehouse.
  • Nice to have experience includes GTM or data layer exposure, BigQuery or GA4 exports, Python for automation, or paid media analytics, but these are not essential.
What They Offer
  • Salary up to £48,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
  • Hybrid working with two days per week in the London office.
  • High visibility role with genuine influence over how digital data is used.
  • Opportunity to grow alongside a developing data function and broaden commercial impact.
