The Role

- Lead the implementation of a new data governance platform, evaluating tools such as Collibra and Informatica
- Define and drive data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
- Develop and embed data ownership models across business units
- Establish and implement data contracts, driving adoption across system owners
- Lead data lineage initiatives, mapping data flows from source systems through to reporting layers such as Power BI
- Support data compliance activity including GDPR requests, data retention, and governance processes
- Assess and improve overall data governance maturity against recognised frameworks
