THE COMPANY
The business is the home improvements subsidiary of one of the UK's leading multinational retail companies. And they are currently undergoing a period of expansion and looking to add a Customer Data Analyst into their Analytics and Data Science team.
Joining the team in this role, you will work alongside the Analytics Manager to produce high-quality analytics and insights. Whilst interacting with various stakeholders to drive the understanding of customers across the organisation, helping to shape future strategies, improve customer experience, deepen engagement, drive revenue and improve efficiencies across the business.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing analysis related to understanding customers, CRM & Loyalty, marketing performance and broader retail insight requirements
- Deliver PIRs related to business loyalty schemes and CRM activities, identifying opportunities and making informed recommendations
- Create forecasting and measure campaign performance across marketing channels
- Support on deep-dives and analysis into performance to generate actionable insights
- Building relationships with key stakeholders from across the business and translate their ambitions and goals into analytical challenges
YOUR KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- SQL and Data Visualisation experience
- Experience of marketing campaign design analysis, working with customer data to find insights and drive business change
- Experience in customer behavioural analysis
- Strong background in stakeholder management

THE ROLE
- Supporting the head of the team in reporting and delivering impairment results with a clear explanation of the drivers to inform decision-making
- Running the monthly expected credit loss calculations
- Building and maintaining key impairment insights
- Preparing presentation packs to deliver key impairment results on a regular basis
- Mentoring more junior members of the team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in both SAS and SQL – Python is desirable
- Strong knowledge and experience with IFRS9
- Strong experience with unsecured portfolios – Credit card experience is a strong preference
