Join a well-funded, high-growth company modernizing a complex, operations-heavy industry through technology, automation, and data-driven decision making.

This position offers the chance to work alongside the organization's lead data professional as the second member of a growing team, helping build and scale the data foundation that supports operational planning, supply chain visibility, project execution, and business performance reporting.

You'll have significant exposure across the business, meaningful ownership from day one, and the opportunity to influence critical systems during an exciting stage of growth.

What You'll Do

  • Manage, enhance, and support a portfolio of production data integrations and workflows
  • Develop scalable ETL processes and data infrastructure to support evolving business requirements
  • Collaborate with teams spanning operations, business systems, finance, logistics, and project delivery
  • Improve data quality and ensure consistency across key operational platforms
  • Create greater transparency into resource utilization, asset tracking, workflow progress, and operational health
  • Acquire, transform, and operationalize external data sources to support strategic analysis and planning
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for reliability and performance
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives, engineering standards, and scalable analytics practices
  • Partner with both technical and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into data solutions

Preferred Technologies & Experience

  • SQL, ETL development, and data modeling
  • Python and modern scripting languages
  • dbt, Spark, Databricks, or comparable data tooling
  • Experience integrating with ERP, operational, or enterprise systems
  • APIs, transactional systems, third-party datasets, and business applications

What They're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong data modeling fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience building, supporting, and monitoring production data pipelines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders
  • A versatile, startup-oriented mindset with experience solving a broad range of technical challenges
  • Experience working in operational, transactional, or ERP-driven environments
  • Exposure to inventory, supply chain, finance, manufacturing, or business systems data is a plus
  • Experience with modern analytics engineering and data platform technologies is highly desirable
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements

Why This Role

  • Join a company entering its next phase of growth and operational scale
  • Play a foundational role in shaping a growing data function
  • Work on business-critical initiatives that directly impact execution, efficiency, and decision-making
  • Enjoy meaningful autonomy and ownership from the start
  • Partner closely with leaders across multiple functions and gain broad business exposure
  • Help build the systems and processes that support long-term growth in a fast-moving environment

This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional who enjoys owning end-to-end pipeline development, partnering with stakeholders across the business, and helping scale data capabilities in a high-growth environment.
