I'm hiring a BI Developer to join a growing Business Reporting team within a market-leading UK organisation currently investing heavily in its reporting and data capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Power BI and SQL skills who enjoys building reports, working closely with stakeholders, and helping the business make better decisions through data. You'll also get exposure to a new Microsoft Fabric environment as the company continues to modernise its data platform.


The role

Working within the Business Transformation function, you'll help deliver reporting and analytics solutions across:

  • Sales
  • Operations
  • Finance
  • eCommerce

You'll build dashboards, support ad-hoc analysis, and work with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and turn them into actionable insights.


What you'll be doing

  • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Create and maintain data models, DAX measures, and reporting logic
  • Support the ongoing development of a Microsoft Fabric data platform
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests across the business
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
  • Validate data and improve reporting quality and consistency
  • Help drive better use of data across the organisation

Must-haves

  • Power BI development experience (DAX, modelling, etc.)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

Nice to have

  • Microsoft Fabric exposure
  • Power BI certifications (PL-300)
  • Salesforce or ERP experience
  • Experience with SSRS or SSIS
  • Wholesale, distribution, or supply-chain industry experience
