What you'll do

What we're looking for

- Hands-on experience building production AI applications using LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.

What you’ll do
- Own the development and delivery of customer-facing AI product experiences from concept through to launch.
- Partner with Engineering, AI, and Design teams to deliver intelligent features powered by large language models and modern AI technologies.
- Define product requirements and user experiences for AI assistants, copilots, and workflow automation capabilities.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate AI capabilities into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
- Use customer feedback, analytics, and experimentation to continuously improve AI product performance and adoption.
- Champion user-centric product thinking while balancing technical feasibility, business value, and customer impact.
- Help establish best practices for building AI-powered products within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
What we’re looking for
- Experience delivering modern SaaS products within a technical product management, product engineering, or software engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of AI-powered applications, including LLMs, AI assistants, copilots, RAG, or workflow automation.
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams and confidently discuss technical architecture and AI implementation.
- Experience defining and delivering customer-facing software products from discovery through to release.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align Product, Engineering, and Design around shared objectives.
- Passion for AI, emerging technologies, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Previous experience in high-growth SaaS or technology businesses is highly desirable.

We’re partnering with a high-growth B2B SaaS business that’s investing heavily in AI and looking to hire a Senior AI Product Engineer to help shape the next generation of customer-facing AI experiences across its platform.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of product engineering and AI, building intelligent features that solve complex real-world problems. You’ll work closely with AI engineers, product managers, and designers to transform large language models into intuitive, production-ready experiences used by enterprise customers every day.
What you’ll do
- Design and build customer-facing AI features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
- Develop AI-powered assistants, copilots, and intelligent workflows that automate complex user tasks.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows into production applications.
- Build responsive, reusable frontend components and streaming AI interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Apply software engineering best practices across testing, CI/CD, observability, version control, and performance optimisation.
- Partner with Product and Design teams to rapidly iterate on AI features using customer feedback and usage data.
- Help define engineering standards and reusable patterns for building scalable AI-powered applications.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years’ experience building modern full-stack web applications within high-growth SaaS or technology businesses.
- Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development, alongside backend development using Node.js and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience building production AI applications using LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.
- Experience delivering customer-facing AI products, including copilots, AI assistants, intelligent search, chat interfaces, or workflow automation.
- Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt engineering, or AI orchestration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, scalable architecture, and observability.
- Excellent communication skills and a product mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively across Engineering, Product, and Design teams.
