Responsibilities
- Analyse and observe operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
- Partner with internal teams to understand business processes end-to-end
- Design improved workflows before introducing automation
- Build backend systems, integrations, and automation pipelines
- Develop AI-assisted workflows leveraging modern foundation models
- Implement scalable, production-grade solutions across operational systems

Must Have Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience in ecommerce or digital retail analytics.
- Confident working with GA4, including events, parameters and ecommerce measurement.
- Strong Power BI capability, including DAX and semantic modelling.
- Ability to explain ecommerce metrics clearly and commercially to non technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with digital funnels and onsite performance analysis.
- Comfortable collaborating with data engineers and understanding how digital data flows into a warehouse.
- Nice to have experience includes GTM or data layer exposure, BigQuery or GA4 exports, Python for automation, or paid media analytics, but these are not essential.

UP TO £85,000

THE COMPANY
Backed by private equity, this fast-growing consumer technology business is on a mission to become more product-focused and deliver greater personalisation for its users. With strong leadership and exciting growth plans, they’re now looking for a senior-level Product Data Analyst/Scientist to help shape product strategy and deliver actionable insights.
THE ROLE
As a Product Data Analyst/Scientist, you will:
- Own and drive product analytics, focusing on user behaviour and personalisation.
- Deliver insights that directly influence product strategy and experimentation.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track product performance and user engagement.
- Partner with stakeholders across product and analytics to communicate insights effectively.
- Support the business in becoming more data-driven, shaping commercial and product decisions.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in product analytics, within B2C consumer tech businesses
- Strong SQL skills essential.
- Proficiency with data visualisation tools (Looker preferred, open to others).
- Experience with Python desirable.
- Product analytics expertise: experimentation, dashboarding, and driving product strategy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience influencing product roadmaps and delivering commercial impact.
