The Role

They are now looking for a Data Programme Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of critical data initiatives and drive them through to delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role, stepping in post-strategy (delivered by a top consultancy) to bring structure, pace, and execution.

You'll be responsible for orchestrating multiple workstreams-including Asset Data, Data Lakehouse implementation, and Data capability uplift-ensuring they are aligned, governed, and delivering measurable business value.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead multiple concurrent data programmes end-to-end, from definition through to delivery
  • Translate strategy into execution across key initiatives, including data lakehouse rollout
  • Establish clear governance, prioritisation frameworks, and delivery roadmaps
  • Own programme structure, including milestones, scope, and dependencies
  • Manage budgets, resource planning, and offshore delivery partners
  • Align senior stakeholders across Data, Technology, and the business
  • Drive adoption-ensuring business users can access, trust, and use data effectively
  • Deliver clear reporting across risks, progress, and outcomes

Key Outcomes (First 6 Months)

  • Fully defined and agreed programme scopes and priorities
  • Delivery roadmap for the data lakehouse and asset data integration
  • Strong governance model and delivery cadence in place
  • Improved stakeholder alignment across technical and business teams
  • Tangible progress toward integrating asset data into the lakehouse
  • Increased business engagement and data adoption

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stream data programmes
  • Strong experience in data lakehouse or data warehouse implementations or migrations
  • Background working in B2B asset-heavy industries (e.g. real estate, Housing, construction, infrastructure)
  • Experience moving from strategy into execution
  • Comfortable operating across both strategic planning and hands-on delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management at senior level
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and offshore teams
  • Ability to bring clarity and structure into ambiguous environments
