Marketing Analyst
Swindon (hybrid, 2 to 3 days onsite) | £45,000 to £50,000
This is a newly created Marketing Analyst role within a high growth consumer business that is investing heavily in digital, growth and data. You will take ownership of marketing insight across CRM, customer analytics and acquisition, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to shape how data informs commercial decisions.

They are a premium consumer retailer operating across eCommerce and physical channels, with a strong brand and a focus on long term quality. The business is scaling rapidly, supported by significant investment in digital and analytics, while maintaining a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture. Data plays an increasingly central role in decision making across the organisation.
The Role
You will sit within the Digital and Growth function, acting as the dedicated Marketing Analyst and working closely with channel leads and senior stakeholders. This is an insight and optimisation focused role rather than pure reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Analysing CRM performance across email, SMS and direct mail campaigns
  • Supporting customer acquisition and paid media performance analysis
  • Building customer segments and audience strategies to improve targeting
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer retention, frequency and lifetime value
  • Designing and evaluating experiments, including incrementality and attribution analysis
  • Optimising customer lifecycle activity such as welcome and reactivation journeys
  • Conducting geographic and campaign level testing to support growth initiatives
  • Translating insight into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing teams
  • Developing analytical frameworks that improve marketing decision making
The role is weighted towards CRM, customer and lifecycle analytics, with additional exposure to wider digital and acquisition channels.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Strong commercial experience in marketing, CRM, customer or digital analytics
  • Advanced SQL skills and confidence working with large marketing datasets
  • Experience analysing CRM channels such as email, SMS or direct mail
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, retention and lifetime value
  • Exposure to experimentation, testing or attribution approaches
  • Python or R experience is beneficial
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is advantageous
  • Comfortable working independently and partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Clear communicator with a focus on delivering actionable insight
