This is an opportunity to join a small, high-impact innovation team building a production-grade analytics product from scratch. You will work directly with senior stakeholders, shaping both the technical direction and the product itself, with real ownership from day one.

The Role
You will operate as a full stack engineer within a small, cross-functional team, working closely with product and leadership to build and scale a new analytics platform.
- Build and deploy full stack applications that surface predictive analytics and ML insights
- Work directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into production-ready features
- Develop backend services using Python and Node.js, alongside modern frontend frameworks such as React

The Role
- Act as the first AI Engineering Lead at group level, reporting into the COO with regular exposure to the CEO and executive team.
- Own AI strategy, architecture and delivery across a diverse portfolio of businesses and use cases.
- Take AI solutions from proof of concept through to production, focusing on commercial impact and scalability.
- Evaluate platforms, tools and vendors while setting best practice for AI engineering and deployment.
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and drive adoption across the group.
- Shape the foundations of an AI function that can scale alongside ongoing acquisitions.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience delivering AI and machine learning solutions into production environments.
- Hands-on capability with AI engineering, including LLMs, Python-based development, system architecture and deployment.
- Confidence designing end-to-end solutions rather than isolated experiments.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business problems into practical AI outcomes.
- A self-starter mindset, comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving environment.
What They Offer
- Base salary of £100,000 to £130,000, with flexibility.
