We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of CDP & Data Activation to join a growing practice focused on customer data strategy, composable architecture, and cross-channel personalization.
This role blends consulting, solution design, and hands-on execution. You will lead client engagements, architect activation strategies, and build audiences directly within platforms. You’re equally comfortable presenting a first-party data roadmap to executive stakeholders and configuring reverse ETL pipelines. That balance is what makes this role unique.
You will work across both packaged CDPs (e.g., Adobe Real-Time CDP, Segment) and composable approaches, bringing the judgment to determine which architecture best fits a client’s maturity, tech stack, and goals. Adaptability across tools, platforms, and industries is essential, as this role supports a diverse portfolio. No two engagements are the same.

THE COMPANY
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing consumer finance business within the credit card space. The company has built out its own lending products, works across co-branded partnerships, and is going through an exciting stage of growth with new card launches coming soon.
THE ROLE
As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role within the Acquisition team, focusing on pricing, performance and commercial optimisation. More specifically, you will be involved in the following:
- Owning and improving pricing strategy across own-brand and co-branded credit card products
- Looking at pricing levers such as APR and understanding the commercial impact of changes
- Analysing competitor activity, customer behaviour, conversion rates and sales performance
- Using SQL to extract and interrogate data to support commercial decision making
- Working closely with aggregator, product, credit risk and decision systems teams
- Creating new processes and identifying opportunities to improve acquisition performance
- Supporting growth across aggregator channels and new product launches
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Commercial Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong experience in a commercial, pricing or analytics-focused role
- Experience within consumer lending, credit cards or broader financial services ideal
- Strong SQL experience
- Good understanding of pricing strategy and commercial performance
- Experience working with data to identify opportunities and influence business decisions
- Python experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Experience in gambling, insurance, telecoms or existing customer management could also be relevant
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
