The Role

The Global Shopper Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's global shopper marketing strategy, translating consumer and shopper insights into world-class retail experiences that drive conversion, loyalty, and category growth. Reporting to the Global Head of Shopper & Customer Marketing, this individual will collaborate closely with regional and local marketing, sales, and insights teams to ensure consistent, insight-led execution across markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of global shopper marketing strategies and toolkits for priority categories and brands.
  • Partner with brand, sales, and insights teams to translate global brand strategies into effective shopper marketing plans.
  • Drive excellence in retail execution by developing best-practice guidelines and activation frameworks adaptable to local markets.
  • Work with regional teams to evaluate and optimise in-store and omnichannel activation performance, ensuring ROI and continuous improvement.
  • Champion shopper insight integration, leveraging data and analytics to inform strategy and creative development.
  • Manage global agency relationships to deliver compelling creative and activation assets.
  • Act as a thought leader in shopper marketing innovation, ensuring [Company Name] remains at the forefront of industry trends.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in shopper or customer marketing within a global FMCG environment.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect brand strategy to shopper behaviour and retail execution.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple geographies and functions.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with a passion for understanding the path to purchase.
  • Experience managing agencies and delivering integrated shopper campaigns at scale.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and align global teams.
