iOS Developer (Swift)

6 - 9 Months

2 days on-site (London)

£450 - £480 per day

Our client, a leading travel company, is seeking an experienced iOS Developer with strong data engineering and visualisation skills to join on a contract basis. This role sits within their internal digital team and will focus on enhancing a proprietary staff-facing mobile app that is already in daily use across the organisation.

The Project
The current app (v1) enables staff to record observations, customer service interactions, and key performance indicators. The next phase is to integrate data visualisation modules, allowing staff to view curated performance data in a simple, engaging way. These new features will help drive visibility, improve engagement, and support ongoing performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate new data visualisation features into the existing iOS app

  • Write SQL for ETL processes (primarily on Teradata), moving data into AWS Cloud

  • Translate datasets into accessible, engaging visualisations

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and iterate improvements

  • Contribute to UX design through tools like Figma to ensure user-friendly delivery

  • Support UAT and assist non-technical users during rollout

  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met

Technical Requirements

  • Strong iOS development skills (Swift, MVVM framework)

  • SQL and ETL experience, ideally with Teradata and AWS S3

  • Proven experience building or embedding data visualisation within mobile apps

  • Exposure to UX/visual design tools such as Figma
