Role and Responsibilities:
- Build, edit, and optimise Boolean queries to capture relevant conversations across platforms.
- Gather data from social media, search engines, forums, and review sites to generate comprehensive insights.
- Create standardised reports and commentary based on defined project templates and methodology.
- Work closely with the project lead and fellow market analysts to ensure consistency in deliverables.
- Monitor brand and industry-specific topics to identify trends, sentiment, and actionable insights.
Requirements:
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a structured, team-based project environment.
- Strong competency using Brandwatch and Keywork.io
- Ability to follow the direction of the project lead and align with a unified research framework.
- Strong written communication skills for clear and insightful commentary.
- Fluent in Arabic

THE ROLE
You will be doing the following daily:
- Optimise and monitor the performance of fraud detection and prevention systems, including associated models.
- Configure fraud systems to effectively manage fraud risk within predefined appetite and budget parameters.
- Conduct analytics to support the setting, tracking, and reporting of the fraud loss budget.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, relevant fraud Management Information (MI) for governance committees, and provide updates in monthly forums.
- Assist plastics fraud analysts with analytics and MI support.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to support and deliver business-wide change initiatives.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to tools and systems, delivering changes to enhance the plastics fraud team’s operations.
- Assist with external engagements involving third-party suppliers, industry bodies, and law enforcement when required.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong previous experience in a Fraud Strategy or Fraud Analytics function in UK Retail Banking.
- Proficiency in either SAS or SQL.
- Knowledge of fraud risks, threats, and landscapes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

THE ROLE- Director of Analytics
