At Harnham, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in IT who is seeking their first experience in a Service Analyst role. This opportunity is tailored to individuals without any formal training or experience but who possess strong communication and customer-facing skills and a drive to learn and develop.

We offer full training in collaboration with our IT service partners, and this role involves reporting to them alongside The Harnham Group. This role covers the day-to-day running of our IT service desk and involves participating in our broader IT strategy and plans for growth.

The Role
This role covers a broad scope of responsibilities, including active onsite support for our global offices, involvement in cybersecurity, IT strategic road mapping, and reporting to our senior stakeholders. The responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to end-users regarding software, network, and hardware issues.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and networking problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Installing, configuring, and upgrading hardware and software as needed.
  • Daily monitoring of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Deploying desktops and laptops to new and existing users.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions.
  • Maintaining documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Conducting regular system audits to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
