Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Senior / Lead AI Engineer
Central London (Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week)

With a mature data function and strong executive buy-in for AI, you will play a key role in delivering multimodal AI solutions that directly enhance customer experience across digital, print, audio, and video channels.
The Role
You will work within a growing AI team, contributing to and leading the development of multimodal AI applications.
- Design and build AI solutions across text, audio, and video data
- Develop multimodal systems that enhance content consumption and customer interaction
- Contribute to projects such as AI-generated avatars and automated content summarisation
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI products
- Lead technical direction for key AI initiatives if operating at Lead level
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary data team to deliver high-impact solutions
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience in AI or machine learning engineering
- Proven experience working with multimodal data such as text, audio, or video
- Experience building and deploying AI models into production environments
- Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and tools
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in fast-paced or start-up environments is beneficial
- Background in developing customer-facing AI products or features is advantageous
