The Role
They are looking for a Vice President of Software Engineering to oversee a global engineering organization of 150+ professionals, supported by approximately 10 direct reports. This is a highly visible, reporting directly to the C-suite.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the development of customer-facing digital payment applications across mobile and web.
Driving the integration of existing products with newly acquired fintech platforms to unlock and maximize strategic value.
Advancing AI adoption across both products and internal operations, with AI solutions already live in production and a target of achieving 30%+ productivity improvements.
Scaling platforms to support large-scale, real-time, high-throughput environments.
Shaping business and technology strategy in close partnership with senior executive leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years of experience leading commercial software development teams.
Demonstrated success within scaling fintech organizations owing B2C mobile and web products.
- Telemetry pipeline ownership a plus.
- Experience managing teams > 100.
- Experience with regulatory requirements is a plus.
Deep experience designing and operating large-scale, real-time systems.

- Analysing customer and credit data to identify trends and optimisation opportunities.
- Helping to improve and monitor automated decisioning systems.
- Gaining exposure to credit modelling projects where there is interest.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years’ experience in a credit risk, analytics, or financial services role.
- Exposure to credit strategy, policy, scoring, or portfolio/MI analysis.
- Experience working with customer or credit data to generate insights.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
- Interest in developing technical skills further, including credit modelling.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
