IT Leader - Supply Chain Planning Transformation

Dallas, TX | 100% Onsite (5 days/week)

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT leader to drive the transformation of enterprise Supply Chain Planning capabilities. This role will be instrumental in improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through data-driven insights, demand sensing, multi-stage inventory optimization, enterprise supply planning, and advanced planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the technology vision and strategy for planning processes and systems, working closely with IT and business partners, creating multi-year roadmaps, and driving implementation and integration of connected systems.
  • Lead transformation initiatives to modernize planning capabilities using new tools, advanced analytics, machine learning, AI, and automation.
  • Own the architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of planning platforms and related operations.
  • Ensure strong data governance and master data integrity across planning and other enterprise systems and processes.
  • Interpret large data sets to uncover trends and drive data-driven decisions that align operational reality with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including planners, operations teams, IT, and senior executives, to align planning decisions with financial and strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate change management and user adoption through effective communication and training strategies.
  • Develop high-quality start plans and scenario-based planning processes to optimize operational efficiency while achieving enterprise goals.
  • Lead leaders-support and develop sub-leaders to drive consistent processes, modernization, and DevSecOps capabilities across teams.
  • Define skill requirements for planning teams and implement programs for skill development and training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience delivering advanced supply chain planning solutions (demand forecasting, enterprise supply planning, capacity planning, start plans, order scheduling, and inventory optimization) end-to-end in a large-scale operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of operational constraints and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and executive leadership.
  • Expertise in balancing inventory and service levels, including safety stock and cycle stock management.
  • Functional knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and integrating demand, supply, and financial plans.
  • Deep understanding of software system design and architecture principles.
  • Awareness of current and emerging technologies relevant to planning and enterprise operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly.
  • Proven ability to influence opinions, gain consensus, and build strong relationships.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and able to contribute to a positive team environment.
