Our client is an established organisation that has accelerated its Agentic AI work over the last 6 to 12 months. They have proven feasibility with an initial proof of concept and are now moving into delivery, hardening, and scaling across multiple internal projects.
Role Details
- Role: Forward Deployed Engineer (Agentic AI and Data)
- Location: Remote, anywhere in the United States
- Pay range: 75 to 100 dollars per hour
- Length: 12 month contract (extensions likely)
- Utilisation: 40 hours per week

The role
This is a hands-on forward deployed role focused on accelerating delivery of Agentic AI systems that connect directly to the data platform. The main goal is to build production-ready agent workflows that improve the AI software delivery lifecycle and to develop semantic models that make AI outputs reliable and usable across the business. You will work in a fast-moving environment where engineers partner closely with coding assistants, so strong fundamentals and debugging ability are essential. The role is stakeholder-facing and needs clear communication alongside strong engineering execution.
Key responsibilities
- Build agentic workflows for the AI SDLC that review requirements, identify gaps, and produce a deployment risk score before changes go live.
- Design and implement guardrails and evaluation checks so agents behave reliably across different change scenarios.
- Develop semantic models and semantic layers that connect business meaning to data and AI outputs.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to connect AI workflows to production data pipelines and datasets.
- Write and review production Python and SQL, and debug code generated with AI coding assistants.
- Work directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, define success criteria, and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
Requirements: must have
- Experience building Agentic AI applications end to end, including core lifecycle components (retrieval, tools, planning, memory or state, and guardrails).
- Hands-on experience with at least one AI framework used for agent workflows (for example LangChain) and cloud model platforms (for example Bedrock or similar).
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with the ability to debug and reason about code behaviour.
- Strong data engineering background, with experience connecting AI work to real data systems and pipelines.
- Comfortable working in stakeholder-facing environments and explaining technical decisions in plain language.
- Proven ability to deliver quickly in an ambiguous environment and take ownership.
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of agent theory, evaluation methods, and failure modes.
- Experience building semantic layers, business-facing data models, or metric definitions.
- Experience with vector search, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns at production scale.
- Prior experience as a forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or delivery-focused AI engineer.

About the client
Our client is an established organisation that has accelerated its Agentic AI work over the last 6 to 12 months. They have proven feasibility with an initial proof of concept and are now moving into delivery, hardening, and scaling across multiple internal projects.
Role Details
- Role: Forward Deployed Engineer (Agentic AI and Data)
- Location: Remote, anywhere in the United States
- Pay range: 75 to 100 dollars per hour
- Length: 12 month contract (extensions likely)
- Utilisation: 40 hours per week
- Start: ASAP
The role
This is a hands-on forward deployed role focused on accelerating delivery of Agentic AI systems that connect directly to the data platform. The main goal is to build production-ready agent workflows that improve the AI software delivery lifecycle and to develop semantic models that make AI outputs reliable and usable across the business. You will work in a fast-moving environment where engineers partner closely with coding assistants, so strong fundamentals and debugging ability are essential. The role is stakeholder-facing and needs clear communication alongside strong engineering execution.
Key responsibilities
- Build agentic workflows for the AI SDLC that review requirements, identify gaps, and produce a deployment risk score before changes go live.
- Design and implement guardrails and evaluation checks so agents behave reliably across different change scenarios.
- Develop semantic models and semantic layers that connect business meaning to data and AI outputs.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to connect AI workflows to production data pipelines and datasets.
- Write and review production Python and SQL, and debug code generated with AI coding assistants.
- Work directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, define success criteria, and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
Requirements: must have
- Experience building Agentic AI applications end to end, including core lifecycle components (retrieval, tools, planning, memory or state, and guardrails).
- Hands-on experience with at least one AI framework used for agent workflows (for example LangChain) and cloud model platforms (for example Bedrock or similar).
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with the ability to debug and reason about code behaviour.
- Strong data engineering background, with experience connecting AI work to real data systems and pipelines.
- Comfortable working in stakeholder-facing environments and explaining technical decisions in plain language.
- Proven ability to deliver quickly in an ambiguous environment and take ownership.
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of agent theory, evaluation methods, and failure modes.
- Experience building semantic layers, business-facing data models, or metric definitions.
- Experience with vector search, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns at production scale.
- Prior experience as a forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or delivery-focused AI engineer.

The Role
You will sit within a large, central product analytics function, embedded directly into a specific product area. Depending on your interests and background, this could sit amongst a specific financial product. Your focus will be on turning complex data into clear, actionable insight that drives value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers and senior stakeholders to inform product strategy
- Defining and owning core product metrics that measure performance and customer outcomes
- Analysing large, complex datasets to uncover opportunities, risks and trends
- Structuring ambiguous problems into clear analytical approaches
- Designing and evaluating experiments to test hypotheses and guide product development
- Communicating insight clearly to both technical and non technical audiences
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience in a product analytics or data analytics role
- Strong experimentation-focused experience and background
- Advanced SQL capability, including complex joins, aggregations and analytical problem solving
- Experience working with large datasets in fast paced, data driven environments
- Confidence translating analysis into recommendations that influence decision making
- Ability to reason from first principles and clearly explain your thinking
- Python experience is beneficial but not essential
