Trowbridge (Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite) | Full Time
A growing, customer-focused food business in the B2C and B2B space is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and management of their cloud-based data infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a modern data function at the core of the company's commercial and customer strategy across the UK, Ireland, and North America.
The Role
You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking Data & Analytics team, responsible for ensuring data is clean, secure, and optimised for advanced analytics, business intelligence, and AI initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to manage a data engineering apprentice and own key strategic projects-including a full cloud migration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and enhance cloud-based data infrastructure (Azure) across multiple international markets
Own the development and performance of ETL pipelines, ensuring integrity and consistency
Lead the migration of legacy environments into Azure Cloud
Maintain and synchronise Dev, Test, and Production environments using DevOps principles
Drive improvements in data quality, access controls, and security compliance
Support analytics, BI, and predictive modelling teams with infrastructure and documentation
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, implementing preventative solutions
Mentor a junior data engineer and serve as a technical lead for data tooling and governance

A technically strong, solution-oriented Data Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and brings both strategic insight and deep technical delivery capability.
Essential Skills
5+ years' experience in SQL-based production environments (DBA/Data Engineering)
Strong SQL/T-SQL skills for dynamic data warehouse processes
Expertise in Azure, SSIS, and Databricks
Solid understanding of data modelling, integration, and transformation
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
Desirable
Experience working with large, multi-source datasets via APIs and secure file transfer
Familiarity with tools like Tableau and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, MS Business Central)
Understanding of information security and governance
Proven experience bridging the gap between IT, data, and business teams

We’re looking for a Staff Finance Data Analyst to take charge of financial analytics initiatives, bridging the gap between Finance and Data teams. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in creating trusted financial models, designing impactful forecasts, and delivering strategic insights that will guide key business decisions and fuel our continued growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Model Usage-Based Economics: Build and maintain dbt models in Snowflake, transforming raw product telemetry into clear financial views (ARR, margin, unit economics).
- Forecast & Scenario Analysis: Use Python-driven Monte Carlo and statistical models to forecast revenue, costs, and gross margin under multiple scenarios.
- Lead Variance & Root-Cause Analysis: Dive deep into revenue, COGS, and operating expenses, explaining plan vs. actual variances and identifying key business drivers.
- Simulate Pricing & Packaging Changes: Collaborate with Product Monetization to model the impact of new pricing tiers, overage bands, and feature gates.

What We’re Looking For:

- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with dbt (production models, testing, CI/CD) and Snowflake (performance tuning, RBAC, cost management).
- Advanced Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, scipy/statsmodels, Prophet) for forecasting, scenario modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, Mode, Tableau.
