Senior CRM Executive - Lifecycle Marketing | Up to £40,000 | Fully Remote | 9-Month Maternity Cover

A major membership-based business serving over 4 million members across the UK is looking for a Senior CRM Executive to join their lifecycle marketing team on a 9-month maternity cover.

The Role

This is a hands-on CRM execution role focused on building, scheduling, and optimising lifecycle campaigns using Braze. You will work with the Head of CRM and Lifecycle Team Lead to deliver automated journeys, transactional messaging, and promotional campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels. You will build campaign journeys from scratch, create email and SMS templates, write copy, and ensure campaigns are set up correctly with segmentation, personalisation, and dynamic content.

Key Responsibilities

Build and schedule lifecycle, transactional, and promotional campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging using Braze. Support automated journeys including onboarding, renewal reminders, and win-back campaigns. Create email and SMS templates. Write campaign copy aligned with brand tone. Maintain accurate content across customer journeys including offers, seasonal messaging, and partner promotions. Set up tagging, segmentation, and personalisation for dynamic content. Build segment filters and audience targeting based on member behaviour and lifecycle stage. Monitor campaign performance and identify improvement opportunities. Contribute to campaign reporting.

What You Will Work On

Automated lifecycle journeys including welcome sequences, onboarding flows, renewal reminders, win-back campaigns, and engagement streams. Transactional messaging including order confirmations, membership renewals, password resets, and account updates. Promotional campaigns for partner offers, seasonal events, ticket sales, and member benefits. Segmentation and personalisation to ensure the right message reaches the right member.

Essential Skills

1+ years CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing experience. Hands-on Braze or Iterable experience. Ability to build segment filters and audience targeting. Understanding of lifecycle marketing principles including onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back. Experience building multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app. Ability to create email and SMS templates. Campaign copywriting experience. Strong attention to detail and QA skills. Analytical mindset to interpret campaign performance. Self-sufficient and able to work autonomously remotely.

Desirable Skills

Membership, subscription, or loyalty business experience. A/B testing and experimentation familiarity. Data privacy and compliance understanding. High-volume campaign environment experience.
