About the Organization
A US-based nonprofit organization with a global footprint works to prevent avoidable blindness and improve access to vision care.
The Programs team develops and manages partnerships worldwide and evaluates the impact and reach of funded services. Over recent years, the team’s work has become increasingly data-driven, tracking regional performance metrics such as screenings delivered, patient demographics, and service outcomes across multiple countries and partners.
The Challenge
The team currently collects reporting and impact data from more than 150 partners across multiple systems and formats, including tools such as project management platforms, shared drives, email, and spreadsheets. This has resulted in:

Limited visibility and reporting consistency
-
Inefficient workflows for both partners and internal staff
The organization is seeking an experienced consultant to assess the current reporting ecosystem, document workflows and inefficiencies, and recommend a more streamlined, scalable system – likely a CRM or grant/program management platform – to centralize data collection and management.
Scope of Work
The consultant will work independently with key stakeholders to review the current state by documenting how data is currently collected, stored and reviewed. They will then research and assess suitable CRM or grant/program management platforms and make a strategic recommendation of a platform for the business to use.

-
Proven experience leading CRM or grant/program management system selection or implementation
-
Demonstrated experience documenting workflows and improving operational processes
-
Strong understanding of data architecture and migrating spreadsheet-based processes into structured databases
-
Ability to independently facilitate stakeholder sessions and synthesize requirements
-
Experience evaluating vendors and managing solution comparisons
Preferred:
-
Experience working with nonprofits, NGOs, or foundations
-
Familiarity with partner/grant reporting environments
-
Experience centralizing multi-source reporting systems
Working Arrangements
-
Fully remote
-
Availability for virtual meetings during US Pacific Time business hours
-
Estimated 30 hours across the engagement, with flexibility if required
