RESEARCH MANAGER

UP TO £55,000

LONDON - HYBRID - 2/3 days a week in the office

The Company

A leading insights and consulting organisation known for delivering brand, marketing and customer understanding at scale. Their Brand Insights function is the largest in the business and continues to grow, supporting more than 100 brands across every major sector!

The Role

You will work at the heart of client decision‑making, balancing hands‑on analysis with consultative engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Speaking directly with clients to understand their brand challenges and shape strategic solutions.
  • Leading conversations around research design, including questionnaires, brand tracking and brand health.
  • Delivering clear insights and compelling storylines through PowerPoint presentations.
  • Coaching and developing internal teams, particularly Senior Executives and Client Executives.
  • Collaborating closely with processing and charting teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Managing one to two direct reports.
  • Working with cross‑functional client teams, including insights, marketing and brand functions, to join the dots and drive action.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in quantitative insights, ideally with a brand focus.
  • Confidence working with survey data, Excel and tools such as SPSS for data mining.
  • Experience writing questionnaires and delivering brand tracking or brand equity programmes.
  • Ability to build a clear narrative from complex data and present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
  • Curiosity about brands, marketing and consumer behaviour.
  • Experience coaching or supporting junior team members.
