If you're an experienced analytics leader who loves influencing senior stakeholders, shaping strategy, and building scalable reporting ecosystems - this is the kind of role that gives you real ownership.

A well‑established organisation in the education and partnerships space is investing heavily in data transformation and modern BI capability. They're looking for a Lead Analyst who can balance technical depth with strategic thinking, and who's comfortable being the analytics voice in senior conversations.

This is a role where you won't just report on performance - you'll shape it.

✨ Why this role stands out

  • You'll act as the analytics lead across multiple teams including partnerships, marketing, and data platforms.
  • You'll drive the delivery of major data and BI transformation projects.
  • You'll build reporting frameworks, modern dashboards, and automated analytics workflows.
  • You'll partner with senior stakeholders and influence high‑level decision-making.
  • You'll mentor analysts and elevate analytics capability across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Programme & Project Leadership

  • Lead delivery of analytics and reporting workstreams across multiple strategic initiatives.
  • Build clear scopes, plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure new dashboards, data models, and reporting structures are embedded and adopted.

Insight & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Own insight delivery for performance reporting, forecasting, dashboards, and strategic KPI analysis.
  • Prepare analytical outputs for senior leadership and partnership meetings.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities - and translate them into actionable recommendations.

Technical Ownership

  • Lead BI and reporting development using modern analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimise data pipelines, models, and governance.
  • Drive automation of recurring reports and implement analytics best practice.

Leadership & Coaching

  • Mentor analysts, improving technical capability and data storytelling.
  • Promote data literacy and help stakeholders self‑serve using dashboards and insights.
  • Support cross‑functional analytics collaboration to ensure consistency and quality.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years in analytics, BI, or insight leadership roles.
  • Strong experience with Power BI or similar tools, including data modelling and visualisation.
  • SQL/Excel proficiency and experience working with cloud-based data environments.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and balance multiple priorities.

Desirable (not essential)

  • Experience working in higher education, partnerships, or performance‑driven environments.
  • Exposure to BI migration projects or modernisation programmes.
  • Coaching, mentoring, or leadership experience.
