This is an exciting opportunity to design and lead a brand new data function within a fast paced, private equity backed business. You will build the data foundations, shape the strategy, and deliver analytics that directly drive commercial performance. If you enjoy taking ownership, creating structure from the ground up, and influencing senior stakeholders, this role offers real impact from day one.

Data is central to their future strategy, and they are committed to building a modern, scalable data capability. You will work closely with leaders across operations, finance and commercial teams in a collaborative and fast moving environment. It is an excellent setting for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering meaningful change.

The Role

  • Build and deploy a centralised data warehouse using Microsoft Fabric, integrating key operational and financial systems.
  • Create management dashboards for global leaders, agency heads and account teams to support proactive decision making.
  • Develop reliable data pipelines and ETL processes to deliver accurate, timely and secure data.
  • Define and deliver a scalable data strategy aligned with growth plans and PE value creation priorities.
  • Recruit and lead a small, high performing data team, fostering a culture focused on agility and ownership.
  • Implement strong data architecture, governance and security standards.
  • Partner with commercial, finance and operational teams to provide analytics that address business challenges.
  • Support PE sponsors with KPI tracking, reporting and performance analysis.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability to build a data function from scratch within a high growth or PE backed environment.
  • Sector experience in advertising, media, or technology. Agency background preferred.
  • Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, integration and analytics, ideally with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Comfortable working with diverse operational and financial data sources.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence influencing senior leaders.
  • A proactive, delivery focused approach in fast changing environments.
  • Experience with Power BI, dbt, Azure, Python or Snowflake is an advantage.
