I'm hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to join a growing B2B eCommerce business and take ownership of paid search performance and SEO direction.

This is a hands‑on, commercially focused role where you'll be directly responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and lead generation through digital channels.

The role

You'll lead the business's performance marketing strategy, with a primary focus on Google Ads, while also coordinating and shaping SEO efforts across the wider digital team.

This role is ideal for someone who wants:

  • Ownership of performance channels
  • Exposure to wider digital and commercial strategy
  • The ability to directly influence revenue and profitability

What you'll be doing

  • Own and optimise paid search strategy (Google Ads) across Search, Shopping and Performance Max
  • Drive improvements in ROAS, revenue, and lead generation
  • Manage large product catalogues and product feed optimisation
  • Lead and coordinate SEO strategy and delivery across the business
  • Improve tracking and attribution (GA4, conversion tracking, server‑side)
  • Work with CRM and tracking data (Salesforce, Mediahawk) to enhance performance
  • Analyse data and communicate clear, commercially focused insights
  • Produce performance reporting focused on profitability and growth

What you bring

Must‑haves

  • 4+ years' experience in paid search and SEO
  • Experience managing large eCommerce/product catalogues
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Search, Shopping & Performance Max
    • Campaign structure and bidding strategies
  • Proven track record of improving ROAS and revenue
  • Strong data analysis skills (GA4, platform data, performance analysis)
  • Ability to optimise for commercial outcomes, not just clicks
  • Experience in B2B / trade eCommerce

Nice to have

  • Experience with CRM / attribution tools (Salesforce, tracking)
  • Understanding of server‑side tracking / advanced attribution

What they're looking for

  • A hands‑on performer, not just a strategist
  • Strong commercial mindset - focused on profit and growth
  • Someone comfortable owning performance end‑to‑end
  • Ability to work autonomously and influence stakeholders

Why this role

  • Clear ownership of performance marketing
  • Broad exposure across SEO, CRM, and analytics
  • Opportunity to influence revenue and growth directly
  • Flat, collaborative team structure
  • Access to strong tools and technical support

Benefits

  • Private medical insurance
  • Vitality health plan
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Salary sacrifice schemes (EV, pension, childcare)
  • Flexible remote working

Interview process

  • Initial screening
  • Technical/performance discussion
  • Final interview
