Overview & Role:
Our client, a fast-growing firm in the financial services sector, is redefining how individuals interact with their finances through data-driven platforms. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Data Administrator to support the performance, security, and scalability of their cloud and on-premise data systems.
In this role, you'll be a key member of the Platform Team, responsible for maintaining robust data infrastructure, optimising performance, and collaborating across the business to deliver secure and reliable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain cloud and on-premise databases.
- Monitor performance and conduct tuning to ensure system reliability.
- Implement secure backup, disaster recovery, and retention strategies.
- Manage access controls and database-level security.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance and deployment activities.
- Work with internal teams to deliver improvements and resolve issues.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience with AWS-based data platforms.
- Strong skills in PostgreSQL administration (or similar RDBMS).
