This is a high visibility data product role within a fast scaling, PE backed organisation where data and analytics sit at the heart of commercial decision making. You will take ownership of a modern data platform at a pivotal point in its evolution, influencing how data products are built, scaled, and used across the business.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Data Product Manager will:
- Own the end to end lifecycle of data products, from discovery and definition through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Define and drive the data product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with business priorities.
- Act as the key link between business stakeholders, data engineering, and analytics teams across markets.
- Translate complex commercial and operational requirements into scalable, high quality data solutions.
- Oversee delivery across a modern data platform, challenging technical approaches and best practice where needed.
- Support platform ownership activities, including incident management and operational governance.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of a modern data platform at scale. You will take ownership of architecture, performance, and governance across a Databricks Lakehouse environment, directly influencing how business decisions are made.

THE ROLE
As a Senior BI Data Architect, you will lead the evolution of the data platform, working across engineering and BI to deliver a scalable and high-performing architecture.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Design and implement a governed Databricks Lakehouse, including catalog and data structures.
- Migrate complex legacy SQL into clean, modular, and maintainable pipelines.
- Build scalable transformation frameworks using Spark and Python or SQL-based pipelines.
- Optimise query performance across large datasets, improving efficiency and cost control.
- Define and manage data modelling standards, including dimensional modelling approaches.
- Develop CI and CD pipelines to enable reliable deployment and testing of data products.
- Create and maintain a semantic layer for self-service analytics and reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple business areas to translate data needs into solutions.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, balancing technical and business priorities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Senior BI Data Architect will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong commercial experience in data architecture or data engineering within modern cloud environments.
- Deep expertise in Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and SQL Warehousing.
- Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance tuning and optimization.

This is a high impact role for someone who enjoys shaping customer journeys at scale and making a measurable difference to revenue and retention. You will own how subscribers are communicated with around payments and renewals, using data and automation to reduce churn while improving the overall experience.

With a strong emphasis on customer experience, they invest heavily in data, CRM, and technology to support long term growth. Collaboration across CRM, product, engineering, and billing teams sits at the heart of how they work.
The Role
- Lead the end to end payment and renewal communication strategy across all subscriber touchpoints
- Design and optimise transactional messaging such as payment confirmations, renewal reminders, and failed payment journeys
- Build automated, cross channel flows to recover failed payments and reduce payment related churn
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and billing teams to ensure data triggers are accurate and real time
- Segment customers by payment method and risk profile to deliver highly relevant and timely communications
- Track and report on performance metrics such as payment success rates and recovery, using insight to drive continuous improvement
- Run testing on messaging and timing to improve engagement and outcomes for at risk customers
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience delivering CRM, lifecycle, or retention strategies in a subscription or recurring revenue environment
- Hands on experience with CRM or customer data platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, Braze, or similar tools
- Confidence working with complex billing or payment data and turning insight into clear customer communications
- Ability to work cross functionally with technical and non technical stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment
