Harnham are working with a fast‑growing consumer finance business to hire a Credit Risk Manager within their UK team. This is an opportunity to join a high performing organisation known for its data driven approach and rapid product innovation.

THE ROLE

You'll play a key role in developing and optimising lending and credit strategies across core UK products, with a likely initial focus on the organisation's newest product area. This position offers broad exposure to commercial, analytical and strategic work across the full credit lifecycle.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:
  • Developing and implementing acquisition and customer management strategies.
  • Creating pricing, NPV and profitability models to support product growth.
  • Embedding analytical insights into credit decision making and wider business strategy.
  • Conducting analysis on customer trends, performance and portfolio dynamics.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across product, analytics and finance.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong academic background in a quantitative or analytical field.
  • Experience developing lending strategies or driving commercial insight within consumer finance, FinTech or related analytical industries.
  • Ability to interpret data to inform risk, pricing or customer strategy decisions.
  • Proficiency in SQL; Python experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in a busy environment with the ability to manage varied analytical projects.
