THE COMPANY

This ambitious and innovative financial services business are seeking an experienced candidate to lead credit management across their unsecured portfolios, focusing on Credit Cards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to drive insight in a hands-on analytical role, whilst managing a small team to success.

THE ROLE

• Developing end-to-end lending strategies for their Unsecured portfolio, with a focus on Credit Cards
• Broader portfolio analysis and driving insight into customer trends and behaviours
• Close work with internal and external stakeholders to drive business performance
• Co-ordination with wider teams to deploy strategies and working closely with senior stakeholders to implement change

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Prior UK Banking experience is essential
• Prior experience in the development and implementation of credit risk strategies
• Prior unsecured lending experience
• Prior experience in managing a small team
• Educated to at least degree level in a statistical subject

SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST

This is an exciting new opportunity to join this company’s credit risk team and take responsibility for credit risk management across the entire customer journey. You will be responsible for reviewing credit policy across all lending products and channels, as well as reporting and analysing lending performance across portfolios to drive strategy.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

• Support the Head of Credit in producing credit risk policy and strategy. You will carry out credit scoring to support the business’ growth ambitions while ensuring that control of credit quality and performance is controlled.
• Perform regular credit reporting and analysis to monitor and sustain performance of portfolios.
• Identify improvements within policies and procedures to drive strategy.
• Develop and implement credit risk MI to ensure that monitoring of all credit risk strategies is constant and effective.
• Design champion/challenger tests to continue improvements and growth in lending strategies.
• Implement credit strategy into credit decision systems.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Excellent data interpretation, manipulation, and analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Skills in SQL, SAS, Python, or R.
• Previous experience working in the credit risk space, in MI, strategy, portfolio, or scoring.
• Strong numeracy skills with a degree in a numerical subject.
