THE COMPANY

This role is with a fast-paced scale-up who have recently gone through a merger with a well-established entertainment provider.

THE ROLE:

• Supporting the Head of Data Governance to embed a data governance framework including metadata management and master data management.
• Contributing to the implementation of policies, data lineage and data quality rules.
• Developing data governance training and increasing awareness across the business.
• Working in a cross-functional environment and building a data governance network internally.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years of Data Governance experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Metadata and master data management experience preferable.
• Excellent communication skills & stakeholder management experience.
• Experience working with the DAMA framework is desired.

THE COMPANY:

This role is for a media company that has a large and impactful Data team. The Head of Data recently saw a gap in this team and is looking for someone to implement strong Data Governance and Quality policies in the organisation. The company has built up a strong culture based on collaboration and hard work.

THE ROLE:

As a Data Governance Manager, you will work closely with various teams in the organisation to implement effective Data Management and Quality principles. The right candidate will be the first Data Governance person in the organisation and there is the possibility of building out a team in the long term. This role reports directly to the Head of Data and has a large amount of autonomy and impact.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal Data Governance Manager will have 4+ years of experience in this field, ideally working in a stand-alone environment. You will also need to be a very strong communicator as this role works with a lot of stakeholders.

This role is with a well-established Telecoms client who are hiring into their newly formed, small Data Quality Team.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Data Quality Lead and support on the following tasks:

• Identify data quality issues and trends and implement suitable solutions.
• Enhancing the data quality policies and standards to ensure best practices is followed across the business.
• Collaborating with Data Management and Data Governance colleagues to implement new tools and processes.
• Working in a cross-functional environment to implement data quality initiatives and ensure that they align with the business’s goals.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

This role is with a well-established, specialist insurance firm that is setting up a modern data capability and centre of excellence. They are growing their Data Governance team and hiring a senior-level data governance analyst.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will join a small, growing team of Data Governance professionals and work closely with senior stakeholders to accelerate their data quality processes and systems.

This role will involve:

• Working closely with the Data Council to improve their Data Governance education.
• Understanding the critical data elements within the business.
• Writing SQL queries and building data quality rules.
• Gathering Glossary definitions and lineage.
