THE ROLE

The AI engineering team builds scalable, data-driven solutions that personalize user experiences and equip marketers with actionable insights, all while working with large-scale infrastructure and diverse technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to align on business goals, define machine learning challenges, and design effective ML solutions.

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models, including building data pipelines, orchestrating ML workflows, and optimizing system performance and reliability.

  • Maintain a robust codebase by writing well-tested code, covering both functional and non-functional aspects such as unit, integration, and load testing.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in deep learning, experiment with new model concepts, and run both offline and online evaluations.

  • Actively share knowledge through internal presentations, tech talks, and by promoting best practices in engineering and technology use.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field.

  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying production-ready machine learning systems, covering the full model lifecycle-training, tuning, deployment, serving, and monitoring.

  • Advertising experinece with real-time bidding, auction models, dynamic pricing, recommendation engines, multi-armed bandits and causal inference techniques preferred.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure (especially AWS), machine learning orchestration tools like Kubeflow, TensorFlow, and the use of Feature Stores in live environments.

Overview

We’re working with a leading creative agency to find an experienced Senior Data Strategist to support a new client engagement in the promotions and loyalty space. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new programme launching now through to the end of the year, with the potential to move into a long-term, retained relationship.

This is a key test period for our client, and the strategist will play a critical role in proving the value of data-led decision-making for campaign optimisation and business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and implementation of the data strategy for a new promotional campaign running through December.

  • Provide regular insights reporting and campaign performance analysis, focusing on what’s working and what’s not across CRM and digital channels.

  • Collaborate with an analyst to develop a scenario planning tool that models campaign effectiveness and forecasts commercial impact (e.g., open rates linked to revenue).

  • Create measurement strategies to track performance across email, website, and other digital channels.

The Role

This is a standalone data role within a collaborative commercial finance team, ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and wants their work to directly impact global strategy.

About the Role

You’ll partner with commercial and finance leads to analyse and translate business data into actionable insights, with full visibility over performance across sales, marketing, and product.

You’ll lead the transition to a new BI platform (DOMO), shape the analytics roadmap, and help embed a data-literate culture across global teams. This is a rare role where data isn’t siloed – you’ll be at the heart of decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and connect data from systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, and Google Analytics

  • Deliver insights around pricing, product, and market performance

  • Build dashboards and BI tools (Power BI and DOMO) for commercial use

  • Lead forecasting, reporting automation, and strategic analysis cycles

  • Train stakeholders and champion a self-service data culture

  • Support predictive modelling to forecast trends and identify opportunities

Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 years in a commercial analytics role (media, digital, retail, tech or FMCG experience ideal)

  • Strong in SQL and ideally Python

  • Experience with Power BI; DOMO experience a bonus

  • Able to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Confident working with multiple systems and bringing structure to complex data sets

  • Commercially savvy with a strong problem-solving mindset
