VP Enterprise Data

In this role you will lead enterprise data, technology, architecture, and AI strategy within a well-established, data-led organisation. Significant investment has already been made in data platforms, AI capabilities, and enterprise systems, creating a strong foundation. The focus now is on bringing teams together, creating alignment, and unlocking greater commercial value from those investments.

The Role
As VP Enterprise Data you will create a single vision across Data & Analytics, Engineering, IT, Salesforce, and Architecture.
You will inherit a large multidisciplinary team and be responsible for aligning previously separate functions, accelerating delivery, and ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead Data & Analytics, Engineering, IT, Salesforce, and Architecture functions.
  • Develop and execute the enterprise data, technology, and AI strategy.
  • Create alignment across technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption and governance of AI across the organisation.
  • Own enterprise architecture standards, data governance, and analytics capabilities.
  • Support the delivery of a true 360-degree customer view across the business.
  • Improve understanding of customer behaviour, product usage, and commercial performance through data.
  • Enable more personalised marketing and more effective sales engagement.
  • Support product teams with real-time customer and usage insights.
  • Oversee internal data platforms, reporting capabilities, and enterprise systems.
  • Make informed build-versus-buy decisions and manage technology roadmaps.
  • Deliver quick wins while establishing long-term strategic direction.
  • Build trust, accountability, and momentum across multiple functions.
Your Skills & Experience
  • Strong leadership experience across some combination of Data, Analytics, Engineering, IT, and Architecture.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, architecture, analytics, and governance.
  • The ability to unite teams around a shared vision and common objectives.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change.
  • Confidence making decisions and taking ownership of outcomes.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to engage with technical detail when required.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect technology investments to business value.
  • Experience operating successfully in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled products, services, or internal AI initiatives and experience applying AI to improve reporting, decision-making, or operational efficiency.
