This is an opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact financial crime change programme within a fast-growing financial services business. You'll work across compliance, risk, product, engineering and operations teams to strengthen controls, improve processes, and help deliver meaningful regulatory change at pace.

This contract assignment sits within a business transformation function responsible for delivering regulatory, technical, and process improvements.

The Role and Deliverables
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements across financial crime controls, AML, KYC/KYB processes, data architecture, and operational workflows.
  • Map current-state processes and identify gaps against regulatory requirements, internal policies, and business objectives.
  • Define future-state requirements and functional specifications, ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Support the design and implementation of enhanced financial crime controls, monitoring processes, workflows, and supporting data structures.
  • Produce clear, governance-ready documentation to support change delivery, stakeholder approval, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams during testing, validation, and implementation of new solutions.
Your Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience delivering business analysis within financial crime, AML, fraud prevention, KYC, KYB, or related regulatory control environments.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, managing ambiguity and driving outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • Recent experience working within a regulated financial services organisation.
  • Demonstrated success delivering change in fast-paced start-up, scale-up, or high-growth environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across compliance, risk, operations, product, and technology teams.
  • Experience producing high-quality business requirements, process documentation, and audit-ready artefacts.
  • Confident facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and translating complex business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Comfortable balancing competing priorities while maintaining strong governance and communication standards.
