Compensation: $200,000-$225,000 base + bonus + equity
Work Authorization: No Sponsorship
About the Role
This role is best suited for product-minded software engineers who enjoy solving customer problems as much as writing code.
You’ll work directly with enterprise customers to understand complex workflows, rapidly build AI-powered prototypes, and validate solutions that can evolve into core product capabilities. Rather than spending months designing systems, you’ll be expected to move quickly-taking an idea from a customer conversation to a working proof of concept in just a few days.
You’ll operate at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Customer Success, helping shape both individual customer outcomes and the long-term product roadmap.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
- Design and build AI-powered MVPs and proof of concepts on rapid timelines.
- Demo solutions, gather customer feedback, and iterate quickly.
- Partner with Product Managers and Software Engineers to productionize successful prototypes.
- Leverage modern AI development tools to dramatically accelerate engineering velocity.
- Influence future platform capabilities through direct customer insights and product feedback.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-7+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong Python development skills (TypeScript or Node.js experience is highly valued).
- Excellent product sense and customer empathy.
- Proven ability to ship working software quickly in ambiguous environments.
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting technical solutions to customers.
- High agency, curiosity, and a bias toward action.
Ideal Backgrounds
- Forward Deployed Engineer
- Growth Engineer
- Product Engineer
- Founding Engineer or early-stage startup engineer
- AI-native B2B software companies
- Engineers who have built customer-facing products from idea to production
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to build AI-powered products where speed, ownership, and customer impact matter. You’ll have significant influence over product direction, work alongside experienced engineering leadership, and help define how AI-native software is delivered to enterprise customers.
