This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible analytics function during a major business transformation. You will play a key role in shaping how data is used to drive commercial performance, working closely with senior stakeholders across digital, retail, and strategy.

The Role
You will sit within a central insight and analytics function, acting as a bridge between data and commercial decision making. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with large, complex datasets to generate actionable insights using SQL and Python
- Translating analysis into clear, commercially relevant recommendations for stakeholders
- Supporting KPI reporting and developing scalable dashboards using Power BI
- Designing and evaluating A/B tests to optimise business performance

Analytics Engineer – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Role
You will join a small, high-impact data team, taking responsibility for maintaining and extending core analytics pipelines. This is a hands-on role where you will work across modelling, data quality, and platform development.
- Own and maintain analytics models using dbt
- Ensure the reliability of billing and automation pipelines
- Build new data models to support evolving business needs
- Collaborate closely with data engineering on platform development
- Review and improve SQL and dbt models across the analytics function
- Contribute to a modern cloud-based data platform, including lakehouse architecture
- Work autonomously in a fast-moving, evolving environment
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience with dbt for data modelling
- Advanced SQL and solid Python capability
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms or lakehouse environments
- Exposure to Databricks is beneficial
- Ability to operate independently and manage priorities in a small team
- Comfortable working in environments that are still maturing and evolving
- Experience in regulated industries or working with governed data environments is advantageous
- Interest in purpose-driven or health-focused sectors is a plus
What They Offer
- Salary between £70,000 and £90,000 depending on experience
- 12 month fixed-term contract

An exciting short-term contract for a commercially focused data analyst to step into a high-impact role and shape customer and revenue analytics in a fast-moving environment. This project offers the opportunity to deliver tangible business impact quickly, working closely with senior stakeholders on key commercial decisions.

They are a data-driven organisation investing in their analytics capability to better understand customer value and profitability. Operating across multiple international markets, they work with complex datasets to inform pricing, product, and customer strategy. Their environment is collaborative and commercially focused, with strong engagement from senior leadership.
The Role and Deliverables
- Take ownership of customer profitability and lifetime value analysis, stepping into an established workstream
- Develop and apply LTV and CLV models to inform commercial and marketing strategies
- Analyse customer inflow and outflow to assess retention, churn, and overall customer value
- Identify revenue optimisation opportunities, including pricing, promotions, and tariff strategies
- Deliver actionable insights on which customers and products are driving value, and where losses are occurring
- Engage with senior stakeholders to translate analysis into commercial outcomes and EBITDA impact
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in SQL and Power BI for querying and visualising data
- Working knowledge of Databricks and Python for analytics and modelling
- Proven capability in customer profitability analysis, LTV modelling, and segmentation
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience working with P&L level data and large-scale data environments such as data lakes
- Ability to generate clear, actionable insights in a fast-paced setting
