This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior, end to end role where you will take full ownership of high impact data science and AI projects during a critical period of transition. The Role

Overview
The business is currently undergoing a large-scale global People transformation programme focused on standardising and optimising end-to-end people processes across the full hire-to-retire lifecycle.

Role Focus

- Own and improve a headless e‑commerce storefront, with a focus on conversion, performance, and user experience
- Build and extend commerce functionality to support future mobile app initiatives
- Design and ship customer‑facing AI features, including conversational and recommendation‑driven experiences
- Develop systems that turn customer feedback (support tickets, reviews, social inputs) into actionable insight
- Create internal tools and AI‑powered workflows that increase speed and efficiency across teams
- Maintain and expand integrations across the e‑commerce and marketing stack using APIs and webhooks
- Partner closely with product, design, marketing, and customer experience teams to deliver production‑ready software
- Contribute to technical strategy and how modern tooling and AI‑assisted development are used across the business
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of professional experience building and shipping production web applications
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Experience with modern React frameworks (e.g., Next.js)
- Hands‑on experience with headless or API‑driven e‑commerce platforms strongly preferred
- Experience integrating third‑party tools and services via APIs and webhooks
- Active, practical use of AI development tools as part of a real production workflow
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI‑powered features in production (e.g., embeddings, retrieval systems, vector databases)
- Background in DTC, consumer technology, or subscription commerce
- Mobile development experience (e.g., React Native or similar)
- Familiarity with modern deployment and infrastructure tooling
