Computer Vision Researcher

United States | $170,000 to $190,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits


This is a high-impact research role focused on applying advanced computer vision and deep learning techniques to real-world healthcare problems. You will work on complex visual data at scale, seeing your research move from experimentation into production and directly influencing quality of care.

Working closely with clinical and engineering teams, they focus on building AI systems that are both technically robust and clinically meaningful.


The Role
  • Research, develop and deploy computer vision models used in production environments
  • Work with large-scale medical imaging data including MRI, CT and X-ray
  • Design and evaluate deep learning architectures for image classification, detection and representation learning
  • Apply modern techniques such as convolutional neural networks, transformers and multimodal learning
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and clinical experts to shape the research roadmap
  • Contribute to publications, conference submissions and internal innovation initiatives
  • Support best practices in research and mentor other team members

Your Skills & Experience
  • Strong applied research experience in computer vision and deep learning
  • Hands-on expertise with CNNs, vision transformers, image segmentation and feature extraction
  • Experience working with large image datasets and complex labelling challenges
  • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
  • Ability to take research ideas from concept through evaluation and deployment
  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and communicating technical work clearly
  • Experience with medical imaging, multimodal models or large-scale training is beneficial
