This is a great opportunity to step into a high‑impact Data Protection Advisor role where you will shape privacy practices, support key stakeholders, and guide the business through a growing data protection landscape.

The Role

You will

* Support the development and delivery of the organisation's data protection compliance framework.

* Act as a key contact for internal teams, offering clear and practical guidance on data protection matters.

* Manage and coordinate responses to data subject rights requests.

* Support incident handling, including investigation and documentation of personal data breaches.

* Maintain governance documentation such as RoPAs, DPIAs and LIAs.

* Review data protection clauses within contracts and supplier agreements.

* Contribute to privacy impact assessments for new products, systems and initiatives.

* Support training, awareness and continuous improvement activities.

Your Skills and Experience

You will have

* Strong commercial experience in data protection, privacy, compliance or governance.

* Solid understanding of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR.

* The ability to interpret complex privacy requirements and translate them into pragmatic business advice.

* Excellent organisational skills and confidence managing multiple tasks.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.

* A proactive, detail‑focused approach and a willingness to learn.

* Desirable: privacy certifications, experience in fast‑paced commercial environments, or familiarity with ISO 27001 or emerging tech privacy considerations.
