The Company
They are a well known digital brand operating at scale across multiple channels and markets. Data, experimentation, and performance are central to how they make decisions. As they continue to grow, they are investing heavily in marketing science to understand what truly drives impact. This contract will sit at the heart of that effort, giving you a direct line of sight to key commercial and media decisions.

The Role and Deliverables

  • Lead the marketing analytics workstream, defining the strategy and roadmap for marketing mix modelling and related effectiveness measurement.
  • Design, implement, and refine MMM methodologies that quantify the impact of media and other core growth drivers.
  • Use SQL to build and maintain robust datasets and pipelines that support modelling, reporting, and insight generation.
  • Translate complex model outputs into clear, concise recommendations for senior stakeholders across marketing, commercial, and finance.
  • Partner closely with media, performance marketing, and marketplace teams to inform channel mix, budget allocation, and campaign planning.
  • Deliver dashboards, frameworks, and playbooks that can be used beyond the duration of the contract to support ongoing investment decisions.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience leading marketing analytics or marketing science initiatives, ideally operating at a lead or head-of level.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in marketing mix modelling, from design through to implementation, validation, and interpretation in a commercial context.
  • Confident SQL skills, with the ability to extract, manipulate, and quality check large and complex datasets.
  • Proven track record working with media data across both brand and performance channels, applying analytics to shape media strategy.
  • Background in digital, marketplace, or similarly complex multi-channel environments where multiple levers drive growth.
  • Comfortable engaging, influencing, and where needed challenging senior stakeholders, explaining analytical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
  • Collaborative working style, able to partner with marketing, data, product, and finance teams to drive decisions and outcomes.
