A fast-growing, product-led scale-up in the online gaming and betting space is hiring an Analytics Manager to lead and shape its analytics function during a key growth phase; this is a high-impact hire reporting directly into the Head of Data, with ownership of analytics strategy, stakeholder engagement, and team development across a modern, tech-driven business. The company is building a next-generation consumer platform and scaling rapidly, offering the opportunity to influence decision-making across growth, product, trading, and commercial functions from day one!

The Role

The role blends people leadership, technical guidance, and commercial impact.

You will:

  • Lead and develop a small analytics team (analysts & analytics engineers)
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across Growth, Product, Trading and Commercial
  • Translate business problems into clear analytical questions and measurable outputs
  • Own prioritisation of analytics work across the business
  • Set and maintain high standards across SQL, modelling, dashboards and documentation
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and review work where needed
  • Drive the evolution from reactive reporting to proactive, strategic analytics
  • Help scale self-serve analytics and improve data maturity across the company

The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with a strong focus on delivering commercial value through data.

Your Skills & Experience

I am looking for a technically strong analytics leader who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and driving business impact.

Key requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on technical background in analytics (strong SQL essential)
  • Experience reviewing analytics work and setting best practices
  • Ability to prioritise effectively across competing business demands
  • Experience working in product-led or consumer tech environments

Nice to have:

  • Gaming, betting, or gambling industry experience preferred
  • If not, experience working in regulated industries (e.g. FS&I / FinTech)
  • Familiarity with modern analytics stacks (dbt, Snowflake, BI tools such as Looker/Omni)
  • Start-up or scale-up experience also preferred (but not essential)

The Benefits

  • £110,000-£120,000
  • Fully Remote role
  • Opportunity to shape and scale an analytics function
  • High ownership and direct impact on business performance
  • Modern data stack and product-led environment
