THE ROLE

• You will be responsible for machine learning model research, building and development for the company’s agentic AI product across HUNDREDS of hospitals
• You will report directly to the founding team and work closely on technical direction
• Own applied AI research and quickly build into production, particularly focusing on novel AI and LLM applications
• You will directly work with production team on implement and design code and build out to production using various machine learning and LLM techniques, owning machine learning modeling
• You will play an integral role of building out the AI team and scaling out its product
• Act as a thought leader role for AI across the business, mentoring junior team members

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Principal AI Scientist will likely have the following skills and experience:

• 10+ years of commercial experience preferred with a focus on applied machine learning research, building production-grade models with NLP and LLMs ideally with voice, multi-modal or chatbot systems
• Experience working in a scaling startup is highly preferred
• Expertise in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for production-grade work
• Commercial experience building novel AI platforms with large datasets
• History of working with and managing real-time AI applications in production settings
• Cloud experience in AWS, Azure or GCP
• DevOps exposure with CI/CD pipelines preferred

SENIOR PRODUCT DATA SCIENTIST

UP TO £85,000

HYBRID – 1X A WEEK IN LONDON

JOB DESCRIPTION

My client is looking for a Senior Product Data Scientist to join a growing Insights team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and machine learning teams to deliver insight, drive experimentation, and shape the future of a consumer-facing product ecosystem.

This position sits at the intersection of technical depth and strategic impact. You’ll dive into data, pipelines, and experimentation frameworks while also influencing product direction, user experience, and commercial outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Product Analytics Ownership

• Act as the go-to data scientist for a core product area.
• Develop a deep understanding of user behaviour and product performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve user outcomes and business results.

Influence Product & Business Strategy

• Connect analysis to broader company goals and strategic priorities.
• Help product teams understand trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and make evidence-based decisions.

Experimentation & Measurement

• Design hypotheses and support experimentation frameworks.
• Monitor and analyse A/B tests, providing clear recommendations on rollouts or iterations.
• Conduct post-experiment analysis to evaluate impact and learning.

Enable Data-Driven Decision Making

• Collaborate with product, platform, and data teams to ensure scalable, accurate datasets.
• Build dashboards and reporting that drive awareness, clarity, and action across teams.
• Support self-serve analytics and data literacy within the product organisation.

SKILLS

• Strong SQL skills with experience querying large, complex datasets.
• Basic working knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with ETL workflows and debugging data issues.
• Proven experience designing and interpreting A/B tests.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Commercial mindset, balancing user needs with business outcomes.
• Strong sense of ownership; highly organised and proactive.
• Comfortable working in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
• Experience working on consumer-facing, mobile-first products or marketplaces.
• Exposure to working alongside machine learning teams or embedding data science into ML-powered product discovery.

Research Manager, Analytics (4 days in office, Fridays WFH)
Up to £60,000, London

We’re partnered with a fast-growing research technology startup using AI to transform how organisations understand people. The business combines advanced analytics with modern research methods to deliver deeper insights, faster and at significantly lower cost than traditional research approaches.

As the company launches a new AI-driven product, they’re hiring a Research Manager to take ownership of analytics and modelling across client research projects.

The Role

This is a hands-on role focused on pushing the boundaries of quantitative analytics within research. You’ll lead complex modelling work, set best practice for analytics, and independently deliver end-to-end research projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Own analytics workstreams across major research projects

• Deliver advanced analysis including segmentation, factor reduction and regression modelling

• Set standards and best practice for analytics and segmentation

• Automate repeat analytical tasks for trackers and long-running projects

• Run end-to-end research projects (primarily quant; some qual/mixed methods)

• Contribute to proposals and RFPs

About You

Essential

• 3+ years’ experience in analytics and/or research using survey data

• Hands-on experience with regression, factor analysis and segmentation techniques

• Strong data wrangling, cleaning and weighting skills

• Proficiency in R or Python for analysis and visualisation

• Curious, exploratory approach to finding insight in data

Nice to have

• Experience with Bayesian as well as frequentist methods

• Understanding of the full market research project lifecycle
