Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the vision for a centralised data science function across all brands and business units.
- Develop and deliver the group-wide data strategy in alignment with executive leadership
- Build out the team further over time, including hiring and capability development.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among data teams in different countries and business units
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders across marketing, product, technology, and operations.
- Ensure high standards in project delivery, governance, and impact measurement.
- Drive adoption of modern machine learning methods and emerging technologies (including Generative AI).
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and revenue through advanced analytics.
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
- Solid background in Data Science (though this is not a hands-on technical role)

THE ROLE

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning and data science, with at least 4+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Comfortable leading teams of 15+ data scientists and machine learning engineers
- Demonstrated success building and leading teams that develop and deploy NLP/LLM models at scale.
- Deep expertise in Python, ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and modern NLP tools (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy).
- Experience designing and implementing ML systems in production, especially with large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5).
- Extensive tax, compliance and/or audit domain experience.
- Comfortable with regulatory compliance processes, risk management, data privacy.
- Familiarity with the SEC, FCA and FINRA preferred
- Proven ability to align technical initiatives with business goals, working cross-functionally with product and exec teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable ML pipelines.
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Publication or open-source contributions in NLP/ML domains (e.g., ACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, EMNLP) a plus.

Senior Data Analyst – £60,000 + Benefits

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support survey optimisation and revenue performance-delivering meaningful insights at scale within a high-impact team reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer.

What You’ll Do

Analyse and optimise the commercial performance of surveys

Identify patterns in client use and respondent behaviour

Model pricing strategies and incentive effectiveness

Use data science tools to boost segmentation and survey ROI

Collaborate across commercial, analytics, and tech teams
-
Drive smarter decisions through revenue modelling and optimisation
Tech Stack
-
Python, SQL
-
Cloud migration to Azure underway
-
Exposure to clustering, regression, and trading-style analytics
What We’re Looking For
-
3-5+ years’ experience in a data analyst or revenue-focused analytics role
-
Confident with large datasets, business metrics, and modelling
-
Curious, creative thinkers who enjoy solving commercial problems
-
Experience in media, marketplaces, ecommerce, or trading environments is a plus
