The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Commercial team and help drive the next phase of Rockborne’s growth. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound outreach, research, and relationship-building with senior data leaders.
You’ll need to be proactive, curious, and confident speaking with senior stakeholders, identifying client pain points, and qualifying opportunities. While some sales experience is helpful, we’re more interested in your potential, your personality, and your drive to learn the market and craft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate leads through cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Research and map out potential clients to personalise your approach
  • Qualify prospects by identifying business problems and booking follow-up meetings
  • Collaborate closely with our Growth Director and CEO to pass on qualified leads
  • Stay close to trends in the data space to build credibility with prospects
  • Build your personal brand through networking and social selling
  • Track and manage activity using our CRM and reporting tools
  • Help shape and contribute to a high-performance, fast-moving commercial team
What We’re Looking For
  • Sales or recruitment experience is desirable but not essential
  • Confident and personable, with the ability to hold conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously and motivated to learn by doing
  • A strong communicator who’s thoughtful, enthusiastic, and self-starting
  • Bonus: interest in data, tech, or consultancy (knowledge can be built)
