Our client, a pioneering technology company dedicated to advancing the understanding of radio spectrum and wireless signals, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer eager to contribute to innovation in the RF space.
Role Overview:
As a Machine Learning Engineer (MLE), you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with company and engineering leadership to design experimental frameworks. Your responsibilities include developing and optimizing machine learning models tailored for real-time, edge applications. You'll assess the effectiveness of new and existing models, stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and signal processing, and translate complex research findings into actionable insights for product development. Working closely with the embedded systems team, you'll integrate machine learning models seamlessly into our products while providing technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal MLE will possess:
- Proven experience in applied machine learning, showcasing proficiency in designing and implementing solutions.
- A solid background in embedded systems, demonstrating the ability to develop and optimize software for embedded platforms.

Harnham is partnered with an accounting tech startup in the New York City area. They are looking for a Machine Learning Operations Engineer with a background in deploying and scaling large-scale ML/AI platforms using regulated data. This person will sit in their Engineering team and partner with stakeholders across the business.
THE ROLE
- You will deploy machine learning models to support new and existing platforms in accounting technology
- You will report directly into the VP of Machine Learning and work closely on technical direction
- Own development of new PoCs and quickly build into production, using regulated data across finance and insurance
- You will implement and design code and build out to production using various machine learning techniques
- Potential to grow into thought leader role for MLOps within the business
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Lead MLOps Engineer will likely have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of commercial experience preferred with a focus on deploying machine learning models
- Experience working in a startup or dynamic environment a plus
- Fluent in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for production-grade work
- Commercial experience building novel AI platforms with large datasets
- Cloud experience in AWS preferred
- History of working on models from concept to production / end-to-end
- Familiarity with advanced machine learning approaches for applications with accounting, legal, insurance claims, fraud detection or other regulated domains
- Experience in settings wearing multiple hats
- History of partnering with non-technical stakeholders a plus
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
