Senior Strategy Analysis Manager
Location: Central London (3 days per week in office)
Base Salary: £70,000

We are seeking a Senior Strategy Analysis Manager to join a dynamic commercial strategy team within a major UK-based rail operator. This is an exciting opportunity to provide key insights into revenue analysis, business planning, and commercial reporting, working closely with the senior leadership team and stakeholders such as the Department for Transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 3 Analysts, overseeing analysis related to passenger demand, trends, customer behavior, pricing, and revenue protection activities.
Provide valuable insights into forecasts, commercial models, partnerships, and revenue effectiveness to support the commercial decision-making process.
Take the lead on the development and delivery of annual business plans, revenue insights, and monthly commercial reporting.
Collaborate with the Revenue Management team and provide strategic data to inform decision-making.
Lead the development of the data and analysis strategy for the Commercial department.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience within the rail industry is preferred, but not essential.
Solid understanding of revenue analysis and management principles.
Strong leadership experience, with a proven track record in managing and developing a team.
Technical proficiency in tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL.
Interview Process:
Stage 1: 45-minute initial screen with senior leadership.
Stage 2: A practical task summarizing a piece of price sensitivity research and presenting findings to the board in a 6-slide presentation.
