Digital Experience Manager - Web, App & SEO
Oxfordshire (4 days on-site) | Up to £70,000 + £8,900 Car Allowance | Luxury Retail | Digital Strategy | UX | SEO

Looking for a rare blend of strategic ownership, hands-on delivery, and stakeholder management within a world-renowned luxury retail group?

This is a unique opportunity to take the lead on digital experience across web and app platforms for a global brand that blends physical retail with best-in-class digital touchpoints. With a strong presence across Europe and China, this brand is redefining luxury shopping for the modern consumer - and digital is a key part of that journey.

This role reports into the Head of Channel Marketing and plays a pivotal part in shaping and optimising how millions of guests engage online.

The Role

Strategy & Planning

  • Own the user experience strategy across web and app - aligning initiatives with business impact, customer insight, and best practice

  • Define the global SEO strategy (agency-led) - overseeing technical optimisation, budget, and KPIs

  • Set annual KPIs for digital performance in partnership with insights and marketing teams

Execution & Delivery

  • Lead the design and development of the website frontend, ensuring timely delivery and business alignment

  • Manage web and app development sprints with IT and external agencies, keeping projects on track and on brand

  • Provide post-launch support for new features, ensuring they land smoothly and meet quality benchmarks

Stakeholder & Agency Management

  • Act as the digital lead across internal teams - upskilling Village Web Managers, sharing best practice, and aligning on goals

  • Manage relationships with SEO and development agencies, holding them to delivery and performance targets

  • Collaborate with creative, content, and local marketing teams to ensure a cohesive, premium user experience

Measurement & Optimisation

  • Monitor performance using tools like Adobe Analytics and Hotjar - and turn data into decisions

  • Gather guest insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement across UX and content

  • Audit digital platforms regularly to ensure alignment with strategic priorities

What They're Looking For

  • Strong CMS experience (Contentful, Umbraco, or similar)

  • Background in editorial content, digital copy, and UX best practices

  • Experience working with or managing digital agencies

  • Industry experience in fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, or retail - ideally with physical locations as part of the brand

  • Solid understanding of digital performance, consumer behaviour, and digital journeys

  • Exposure to analytics tools (Adobe, Hotjar, GA etc.)

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience managing SEO strategy (agency-led), even if not hands-on

  • Strong understanding of digital KPIs, reach, frequency, and ROI

  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable presenting to stakeholders across the business

  • A strategic mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
